In a bowl, mix together the suji, curd, water, baking soda, sugar, salt and oil.
Mix until everything is well combined and the batter is of a thick consistency.
Add the chopped vegetables (optional) and mix again.
Grease an idli stand with oil and pour the batter into the moulds.
Steam the idlis for 10-15 minutes or until they are cooked through.
Serve hot with chutney or sambar. Enjoy!
