In a large bowl, mix together the whole wheat flour, sattu, cumin seeds, ajwain, red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt.
Add the oil and mix it in with your fingers until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
Gradually add water and knead the dough until it is soft and pliable.
Cover the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Divide the dough into 8 equal portions.
Roll each portion into a circle of about 5-6 inches in diameter.
Heat a tawa (griddle) over medium heat.
Place the rolled paratha on the tawa and cook for a few seconds.
Flip the paratha and cook the other side.
Apply some oil on the paratha and cook until both sides are golden brown.
Serve hot with pickle or chutney.
