Remove the chicken pieces from the buttermilk and dredge them in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
Carefully place the chicken pieces in the hot oil and fry for about 10 minutes, flipping once, until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the chicken from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
