A ripe banana is a yellow banana with a few brown spots. It is soft to the touch and has a sweet flavor. Ripe bananas are a great source of potassium, fiber, and vitamin B6. They can be eaten as a snack, added to smoothies, or used in baking. Ripe bananas are also a popular ingredient in many desserts, such as banana bread and banana pudding.
