Cut the drumsticks into 2-inch pieces and keep them aside.
In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, urad dal, channa dal, and dry red chilli.
Once the mustard seeds start to splutter, add the drumsticks to the pan.
Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder. Mix well.
Cover the pan and cook on a low flame for 10 minutes.
Now, add tamarind juice and salt. Cover the pan and cook till the drumsticks are soft and tender.
Once done, remove from heat and serve the drumstick curry hot with rice.
