Heat a pan and add the roasted Bengal gram. Roast it for a few minutes until it turns golden brown.
Add the jaggery and ghee to the pan and mix well.
Cook the mixture until the jaggery melts and the mixture starts to thicken.
Add the cardamom powder, nutmeg powder, cashew nuts and almonds. Mix well.
Cook for a few more minutes until the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
Transfer the mixture to a greased plate and spread it evenly.
Allow it to cool for a few minutes and then cut into desired shapes.
Serve the Kadalai Mittai and enjoy!
