Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add onions and cook until golden brown.
Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chillies and sauté until fragrant.
Add the tomato puree, turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook until the oil separates from the masala.
Add paneer cubes and mix well so that the paneer is well coated with the masala. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with roti or naan.
