Custard apple, also known as sugar apple or sweetsop, is a tropical fruit native to the Caribbean, Central America, Asia and South America. It is a round or oval-shaped fruit with a soft, creamy texture and sweet flavor. The flesh of the custard apple is white or yellowish and contains numerous black seeds. The fruit is often eaten fresh, but can also be used to make jams, jellies, and other desserts. Custard apple mikshake or icecream is commonly made when the fruit is in season.
