Soak the chickpeas overnight and pressure cook them until they become soft.
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
Add the ginger garlic paste and green chillies, and sauté for a few more minutes.
Add the chopped tomatoes, and cook until they become soft.
Add chole masala powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and coriander powder. Mix well.
Add the cooked chickpeas and salt. Stir well to combine with the masala.
Add water and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with Bhature or rice.
