Bread roll is a popular Indian snack made with boiled potatoes and bread slices. A stuffing of boiled potatoes and spices is placed on a slice of bread which is wettened and rolled into an oblong shape. These rolls are then deep fried and eaten with ketchup or chutney. They are usually made using white bread slices but can be replaced with brown or multigrain bread. Bread rolls are commonly had as an evening snack along with tea or coffee.
