Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Fry until golden brown.
Add the chopped green chillies and fry for a few seconds.
Add the cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chilli powder and salt. Fry for a few seconds.
Add the boiled potatoes and mix well.
Add the all-purpose flour and mix well.
Add the chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
Take small portions of the mixture and shape into round balls.
Heat oil in a deep pan and deep fry the alu dum until golden brown.
Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
