Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and fennel seeds and fry for a few seconds.
Add green chillies and onions and fry until the onions are golden brown.
Add potatoes and fry for a few minutes.
Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala and mix well.
Add alu and mix well.
Add salt to taste and mix well.
Cover the pan and cook for 10-15 minutes or until the alu is cooked.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
