Foods to Eat for Post Workout Nutrition

Here are some foods that you should eat after working out to help you recover.

Carbohydrate-Rich Foods

Simple carbohydrates such as bananas, rice, dried fruits, and dairy products would be your preferred post-workout source of energy for immediate replenishment.

Protein-Rich Foods

Protein is found in the best whole foods such as eggs, paneer, yoghurt, chickpeas, soybeans, and chicken. They are complete proteins that supply all essential amino acids at once after exercise.

Electrolytes

Natural liquids like coconut water, watermelon, green vegetables, and lemon juice are the greatest way to restore electrolytes lost during workouts.
